Terms of use

Clear expectations for using Haviora and managing your membership.

Effective date: 23 September 2026 · Last updated: 23 September 2026

About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and David Ajanjan trading as RIDDEC TECHNOLOGYS, a sole establishment licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism under license no. 1051098, with its business address at Office O-3402, Burj Al Salam Trade Center First, Dubai, UAE ("Haviora", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the Haviora app and the website at haviora.app (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Wellness, not medical care

Haviora is a general wellness and self-reflection tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy or emergency monitoring. Using it does not create a clinician–patient relationship.

  • Recovery scores, age-related estimates, nutrition figures and AI suggestions are estimates. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they cannot determine your health, your "actual age" or your life expectancy.
  • Do not use Haviora to choose or change medication or doses, change a treatment, or put off seeing a doctor. Always seek advice from a qualified health professional about any medical question.
  • Photo and menu analysis cannot confirm ingredients, portions or allergy safety. Always check ingredients and cross-contamination with the restaurant.
  • In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Eligibility and your account

You must be 18 or older to use Haviora. By using the Service, you confirm that you are.

You agree to give accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us promptly at hello@haviora.app if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it results from our failure to take reasonable security measures.

Your content

You keep ownership of the records, photos and messages you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and transmit Your Content, including through our service providers, but only as needed to run the Service and the features you request, and always in line with our Privacy Policy and the permissions you have given. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted, subject to the retention periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

Only submit content you are entitled to share. Do not upload other people's private information, or photos showing them, without their permission.

AI features

AI-generated coaching, plans, reviews and analyses are produced automatically and are not reviewed by a medical professional. Before acting on a suggestion or saving a record, check it and use your own judgement. Haviora never orders food or makes purchases on your behalf.

AI features send information to our AI provider only if you have given the separate, explicit permission described in our Privacy Policy. Accepting these terms does not give that permission.

Device connections

Readings imported from Apple Health, Oura or other sources depend on permissions, connectivity and the source provider, so they may be delayed, incomplete or duplicated. Haviora is not a medical record, and it should not be your only copy of important health information.

Memberships, trials and payment

Purchases. Paid memberships are sold through the Apple App Store. Before you confirm a purchase, the Membership screen and Apple's confirmation show the plan, price, currency, billing period and any trial. Those details apply to your purchase.

Free trials. Where offered and confirmed by Apple, a 7-day free trial converts automatically into a paid, auto-renewing subscription at the price shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Apple's eligibility rules apply.

Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. To cancel, go to your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Haviora. Deleting the app or your Haviora account does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds. Apple handles payments and refunds for App Store purchases under its terms; you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. This does not affect your statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal you have under consumer law where you live.

Allowances. Menu-photo comparisons are allowed as follows:

  • Free: 10 successful analyses in total (not per month).
  • Basic: 30 per calendar month, resetting at 00:00 UTC on the 1st.
  • Advanced and Pro: ongoing access, subject to fair-use limits.

For all plans:

  • Failed or unreadable analyses do not count towards the allowance.
  • A completed analysis counts even if you leave the screen.
  • There is a limit of 10 attempts per 24 hours.

Price and feature changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase or any change that materially reduces your paid features. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies. Changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • access the Service without authorisation, bypass its security or usage limits, or disrupt it;
  • reverse-engineer the app, except as the law allows;
  • submit unlawful content, or impersonate anyone;
  • use the Service to harm others; or
  • present AI output as a verified medical opinion.

Our intellectual property

The Haviora app, brand, software and content belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in accordance with these terms and the App Store usage rules.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Haviora at any time and delete your account in Settings → Privacy & data → Remove data → Delete cloud account.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect users or the Service. Where reasonable, we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to fix the issue. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data. Where the law requires, we will also refund any unused prepaid period, or help you obtain a refund from Apple.

Service availability and disclaimers

We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, will be error-free, or will produce any particular wellness result. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

(a) we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these terms; and

(b) our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you paid for Haviora in that period, and (ii) USD 100.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded Haviora from the Apple App Store:

(a) these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content;

(b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;

(c) if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation;

(d) Apple is not responsible for handling any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or consumer protection claims;

(e) Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending or settling any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights;

(f) you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties; and

(g) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over disputes.

If you are a consumer living in the EU, EEA, UK or another country with mandatory consumer protections, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts where you live.

Please contact hello@haviora.app first. We aim to resolve complaints within 30 days.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. For material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account before then. Changes never apply to purchases already completed.

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may transfer these terms to a successor company, provided your rights are not reduced. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
